Getting to know Miss Hodges It was great to be born and raised in Southern California. I have 2 wonderful parents, and 2 dogs that live with them. I went to Brea Olinda High School, and later went on to attend Azusa Pacific University, graduating in May of 2000. It was exciting to be involved in choir all four years at APU (Bel Canto and University Choir and Orchestra) and have the opportunity to take many music courses that would further prepare me for eventually teaching music!

	This is my 7th year of teaching, and it is such a pleasure to be able to teach students and share about God's Word! I have taught at Friends Christian School and Sonrise Christian School. Two years ago, through my involvement with Mariners Church in Irvine, I felt God calling me to move down to South Orange County. Not only so I could be closer to church, but to teach down here as well. That is how God led me to Aliso Viejo Christian School! As soon as I got the job here, God blessed me with an amazing place to live as well!
	I am so excited to be teaching Music, Math and Computer at AVCS! Music is a huge passion of mine; I have been singing for 15 years and want to use the gifts God has given me to be a blessing to others. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to teach such awesome kids and instill in them a love for music like I have! AVCS is a fantastic school, and I feel like I have become part of the family already! Some of Miss Hodges' interests: shopping, listening to music, reading a good book, spending time with family and friends, and going to the beach!
